Glass Mask - 07

Catching up with Glass Mask as I need to watch episode 8! Yes I will get the Mai-Otome ep 5-12 blogged soon..or so we hope! ;)



More turmoil and angst as the second part concludes! Maya was all keen and ready to become the bestest Beth there ever was for Little Women - but alas, Tsukikage decides to teach our Maya a harsh lesson in drama. The ever dramatic slap! To become more like Beth, Maya decides to sit on a swing in the rain and catch a fever. She gets a top class award for drama queen. But that's not all!
Sakurakoji (Maya's 'boyfriend') finds out that Maya has heard all about his family slagging her off and feels guilty. Meanwhile, Maya with the upcoming perfomance playing as Beth catches a fever! But needless to say she carries it off well and nearly dying herself in the process. The play itself receives a great reception but the corruption of the critics behind the scenes pan the little play and especially our little woman, Maya. Ayumi puts in her two pence worth in as well and declares what we already knew - Maya is her lesbian..I mean rival! Oh noes! Moar drama FTW. :D



Overall: 9/10

Another excellent episode from the best anime of 2005! I just wish all anime was as good as this.
